A new workshop titled “Living with Limits: CPET in Chronic Diseases” is set to spotlight how chronic illnesses shape a patient’s ability to breathe, move, and function in daily life.
This workshop, led by Dr. Zana Srna, dives into Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), a powerful diagnostic tool used to assess exercise capacity and uncover the underlying causes of exercise intolerance. It highlights how CPET can differentiate between cardiac, pulmonary, and metabolic limitations, particularly in conditions such as heart failure and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The session aims to strengthen clinical understanding by linking physiological data with real-world patient care.
